Why do faces change between shots in my Tiny Desk AI video?

Usually because the AI only had a blurry, turned or filtered face to go on, or one photo for several people. Give each person their own clear, front-facing photo, chest up, and every shot they appear in is made from that photo.

Why it happens

The Tiny Desk clip has three shots, and the keyboard player is in two of them. When a tool makes the whole clip from one prompt or one image, it has to guess each face again in every shot, and the guesses drift. Small faces, sunglasses, side views and beauty filters make it worse.

How to fix it

  1. Use one photo per person: sharp, facing the camera, chest up, even light, no sunglasses or filters.
  2. In a group photo, check that nobody's face is tiny. If it is, upload that person separately.
  3. Keep the same person in the same part, so each face has one photo to follow.
  4. Check the picture and the free preview. If the lead doesn't look right there, change the photo before you pay.

How our generator handles it

Every part has its own photo, and every shot that person is in is made from it: the keys in the band shot and in front of the sax, the lead in the whole close-up. Everyone keeps their own hair and clothes too. AI results still vary, so if a finished video doesn't look like your friends, write to us from the About page.

Faces: questions

Why doesn't my Tiny Desk AI video look like me?

A small or turned face, sunglasses, a filter or harsh light leaves the AI guessing. Swap in one sharp photo facing the camera, chest up, and check the preview again.

Does the preview show what the full video will look like?

No, not exactly. It shows whether your photo works. The full video is made again from the same photos, so details can differ.
